Dashing through the Springs : overview
The Dashing through the Springs is scheduled for Saturday, December 20, 2025, in Miami Springs, FL (500 Deer Run, 33166). The event is the second annual 5K run and walk organized by the River Cities Rotary Club. The course begins and ends at the Historic Curtiss Mansion and passes through tree-lined streets and a historic golf course. Proceeds will support the Rotary Club Foundation, a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit. The race will be professionally timed by AccuChip Timing. The first 200 registered participants will receive an event t-shirt. Packet pickup for bibs and shirts is set for Friday, December 19, at Hole 19, 650 Curtiss Parkway, Miami Springs, FL 33166.
Events and entry
The event program includes multiple 5K categories with published entry fees. Categories and published eligibility include general entry, a student category open to ages 1–18, a senior category open to ages 55–99, and a first responder category for police and fire personnel. Published entry fees are $35 for the standard 5K and $25 for the student, senior, and first responder categories. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
