The Dash for Down Syndrome 5K is a charity road race held on Sunday, October 4, 2026, at Norlo Park, 3050 Lincoln Way East, Fayetteville, PA. The event benefits Downright Perfect, Inc and includes community activities such as a dash walk, a train ride, and a raffle drawing that requires presence to win.
The course is a USATF certified 5 kilometer route composed of several different loops. Timing is provided by Timber Hill Timing; the race is chip timed and finish times are calculated using both the starting signal and each runner’s chip. All awards are determined by gun time, so the first person across the finish line is the winner.
Runners must wear their timing chip on their shoe to receive an official time and to be eligible for awards. Bib numbers must be worn on the chest to allow identification in case of chip failure. Failure to follow chip or bib rules may result in disqualification at the discretion of the race organizers.
Course record times are listed for overall and masters divisions: male 21:06, female 24:35, masters male 21:06, masters female 25:02.
Entry fee is $30 across listed registration periods; entries in the early period include a shirt. Online registration closes October 3 at 11:59 PM.
