Dash for Down Syndrome
Dash for Down Syndrome is a fundraising and awareness event supporting Eastern Idaho Down Syndrome Family Connect. The in-person event takes place at Snake River Landing in Idaho Falls on August 22, 2026. It is presented as a day of celebration for the local Down syndrome community, their families, and supporters.

Registration details and fees: registration opens March 21, 2026. Most race registrations close May 3, 2026; the Individual WITH Down Syndrome option remains open through August 21, 2026. Fees listed by the organizer are $35 for the 10K, $25 for the 3.21 mile, $15 for the 1 mile fun run/walk, and $0 for the Individual WITH Down Syndrome option. The first 900 registrants are guaranteed a swag bag. Participants who register for the 10K or 3.21 mile before July 20 are guaranteed a race t-shirt; later registrants are not guaranteed a shirt.
Race operations and amenities: the 10K and 3.21 mile events will be chip timed and results will be published after the race. Medals are available at the finish; a bib is required to receive an official medal. Individuals with Down syndrome registered for any race receive a t-shirt, an engraved medal, and a racecourse poster and will be recognized on race day. Packet pick-up is scheduled for Friday, August 21, 2026, at the Eastern Idaho Down Syndrome Family Connect office at 1675 S Woodruff, Idaho Falls 83404, with parking and restrooms available at the event site. Course routes will be marked and staffed by uniformed volunteers. The fun run course is less than a mile; shirts for the fun run are available for purchase.
