Dash for Down Syndrome - Idaho Falls
Dash for Down Syndrome raises funds and awareness for Eastern Idaho Down Syndrome Family Connect. The in-person event takes place at Snake River Landing in Idaho Falls on August 22, 2026. It is presented as a day of celebration for the local Down syndrome community, families, and supporters.
The event program includes multiple race options:
- 10K
- 3.21 miles
- 1 mile fun run/walk
- Individual WITH Down Syndrome registration option (free for people with Down syndrome)
Entry fees are listed for each registration option. The first 900 registrants are guaranteed a swag bag. Participants in the 10K and 3.21 mile races who register before July 15 are guaranteed a race t-shirt; later registrants may not be guaranteed a shirt. Medals are available at the finish for each race, and a bib must be worn when crossing the finish line to receive an official medal. The fun run course is shorter than a mile and does not include a complimentary shirt.
Timing is provided for the 10K and 3.21 mile races using chipped bibs; results will be uploaded by the timing provider. Packet pick-up is scheduled the day before the event at the Eastern Idaho Down Syndrome Family Connect office in Idaho Falls. Volunteers and groups are invited to participate in event support.
