DASH for Detection - 16th Annual
DASH for Detection is a family-friendly 5K walk/run held on June 14, 2026, in Chicago at Montrose Harbor (600 W Montrose Harbor Drive). The event supports pancreatic cancer research and combines a short course along the lakefront with post-event family activities.
The in-person offering is a scenic 5K course along Chicago's lakefront, followed by summertime activities for families and friends. A virtual 5K option is available for participants who cannot attend in person; virtual participants may complete the 5K anytime in June by running, walking, biking, hiking, or swimming and are invited to mark local routes in purple.
Both the in-person and virtual 5K events list no registration fee. In addition to participant options, the event includes multiple sponsorship opportunities with published tiers and benefits. Sponsor packages at different price levels include benefits such as prominent signage, branded apparel, VIP tent access, dedicated team signage, tribute placement along the 5K course, and website and e-blast recognition.
