Event details
The Dash For A Cure 5K takes place Sunday, October 18, 2026, in London, KY at the London Farmer's Market (100 West Dixie Street). The event program includes:
- 5K Run/Walk : $20
- 1 Mile Fun Walk : $20
- FREE Kid's Dash : $0
- Virtual Runner/Walker : $30
Proceeds will benefit a Baptist Health cancer fund that supports patients at the Baptist Health Corbin Cancer Center. In-person registration for the 5K Run/Walk or 1 Mile Walk includes a $20 gift/gaming card to The Palace Family Entertainment Center. Packet pickup dates and locations are to be announced.
Course and features
The course is described as a flat, fast route through downtown London and Veterans Memorial Park, starting and finishing at the London Farmer's Market. The 5K route follows Whitley Street and S Dixie Street, enters Veteran’s Park on a clockwise outside loop, returns to S Dixie Street, and finishes at the market. There is a water stop near the park that participants will pass twice.
Race features include commemorative race T-shirts, chip timing and race management by RaceRise, free race photos, awards for top three male and female overall finishers, and top three male and female in five-year age groups from 0-9 through 70+. Social team prizes and a best-dressed "Pink Out" prize are also listed. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
