About the race
The 4th Annual Dash For A Cure is a community running and walking event in London, Kentucky, held at the London Farmer's Market on October 18, 2026. The event benefits Breast Cancer Awareness, the Karlyle Keith Young Cancer Fund, Just About You - A Caring Place for Women with Cancer, and a scholarship fund for students affected by breast cancer.
Distances offered:
- 5K Run/Walk : 3.1 miles
- 1 Mile Fun Walk : 1 mile
- FREE Kid's Dash : 400 yards
- Virtual Runner/Walker : 3.1 miles
The 5K is chip timed on a flat course that passes through downtown London and Veteran's Memorial Park. Awards are presented for the top three male and female overall finishers and for the top three male and female finishers in five year age groups from 0-9 through 70+. Walkers, strollers, and dogs on fixed length leashes are allowed in the in-person events described.
In-person registration includes a commemorative race T-shirt while supplies last and a voucher for a choice of a $20 gaming card or a two hour unlimited wristband for The Palace. The Kid's Dash is free for children 9 and under and includes a participation medal; a child race shirt is available for a $10 add-on. Virtual entrants receive a commemorative T-shirt that can be picked up at packet pickup or mailed/delivered. Packet pickup takes place at the London Farmers Market prior to race day.
