Darien 5K Run
The event is a community running and walking event at Pear Tree Point Beach in Darien, Connecticut on June 14, 2026. It includes in-person and virtual options and is organized by Blue and Yellow Ukraine Inc., a nonprofit organization.

Registration opens April 4, 2026. In-person registration closes April 30, 2026; virtual registration closes June 14, 2026. Fees vary by month: $30 in April, $40 in May, and $50 in June. Registration is limited to 300 participants. Early bib and T-shirt pickup details are to be finalized.
All proceeds from the event will be directed to support Ukrainians. Current fundraising priorities include medical supplies, boots, drones and thermal cameras.
Awards will include medals and prizes. Virtual participants are asked to submit a picture of their time and a shipping address to receive T-shirts; top three virtual finishers will receive hand-made Ukrainian heart medals.
Parking at Pear Tree Point Beach is limited; organizers advise using a ride service, carpooling, cycling or being dropped off. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
