Darien 5K Run / 1-Mile Walk (in Support of Ukraine)
This event is a community fundraising run and walk held at Pear Tree Point Beach in Darien, Connecticut. The program includes in-person and virtual options and offers awards with medals and prizes.

- Virtual 5K Run / Walk with proof of time submission and T-shirt fulfillment
All proceeds will be directed to support Ukrainians. Current fundraising priorities include medical supplies, boots, drones, and thermal cameras. Registration is limited to 300 participants. A tiered pricing schedule is listed for April, May, and June registration months. Early bib and T-shirt pickup details are to be finalized.
Parking at the venue is limited; ride services, carpooling, biking, or drop-off are suggested as alternatives. On-site registration will be available. Awards presentation will include medals and prizes for top finishers.
The event is organized by a nonprofit group working to raise funds for relief efforts. Virtual participants who submit proof of performance are eligible for T-shirts and recognition; top virtual finishers will receive hand-made Ukrainian Heart medals.
