2026 Darien Road Race & Family Fun Day
The Community Fund of Darien organizes an annual charity road race and family activity day at Pear Tree Point Beach in Darien, Connecticut on September 20, 2026. The event includes timed running events and a family activity tent where attendees can gather without registration. Parking in and around Pear Tree Point Beach is limited.

- 1.5 Miles: Timed Run/Walk
- 5 Miles: Timed Race
Awards are given for finishers. The 1.5 mile event awards official 2026 Darien Road Race medals to the top five finishers. The 5 mile event awards official 2026 Darien Road Race medals to the top three finishers in female and male categories across the following age groups: 12 and under, 13-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70 and over. Strollers are welcome at the event.
Proceeds support neighbors in Stamford, Norwalk, and Darien through grants to nonprofit organizations that provide food, housing, physical and mental healthcare, employment skills, youth programs, and emergency services. The Community Fund of Darien has operated since 1951 and has granted nearly $30,000,000 to local health and human services organizations.
