The Dare to Care Dash is a 5K run and fitness walk held Saturday, June 13, 2026 in Milford, Ohio at 5900 Buckwheat Rd. The event offers an Adult Run/Walk, an Under 18 Run/Walk, and a Donate Only option. Early registration fees are Adults $25 and Children (under 18) $12; late registration fees are Adults $30 and Children $15. T-shirts are available for $12 (early) and $15 (late). A DASH activity is scheduled for Friday, June 12 at Fleet Feet Loveland. A short fun run for children will award ribbons to all finishers. Refreshments will be provided after the race.
Course, divisions and awards
The start and finish are at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church. The course follows local streets to Miami Meadows Park, proceeds clockwise around the park outer walkway, then returns to the church along the same route. The course is USATF certified. Race divisions include age groups for men and women (14/under through 70/Over), weight divisions for men and women, and fitness walker age groups. Prize drawings include 50 prize awards randomly selected from pre-registrations and additional prize drawings at the award ceremony. Special trophies will be presented to the first male and female overall, and medals to the first three overall fastest times. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
