Event Information
The Dare to Care Dash is a 5K run and fitness walk. It takes place in Milford, Ohio, starting and finishing at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church on Buckwheat Road, near Mulberry Elementary School.
The event has three participation options:
- Adult Run/Walk
- Under 18 Run/Walk
- Donate Only (a non-running option)
Race Details
The course is USATF certified. It begins at the church, proceeds along Linden Creek Drive, Winchester, Lela, and through Miami Meadows Park before returning via the same route. Early registration is $25 for adults and $12 for participants under 18. Late registration is $30 for adults and $15 for participants under 18. T-shirts are available for an additional fee.
Race participants are divided into age categories for men, women, and fitness walkers. There are also weight divisions for men and women. A short fun run for kids is included, with ribbons for all finishers.
Additional Information
Packet pickup is scheduled for the day before the event at Fleet Feet in Loveland. Over 50 prize drawings are held at the awards ceremony, with 50 prizes awarded randomly from pre-registrations. Special trophies are given to the first overall male and female finishers, and medals are awarded to the top three overall fastest times. Refreshments are provided after the race.
