Event Information

The Dan the Man 5K Run/Walk for ALS is a fundraising event. It is scheduled for Saturday, May 16, 2026. Two events are offered: a 5k Run and a 5k Walk. Both events share the same start time.

The event takes place at 600 Spruce Brook Road in Berlin, Connecticut. The venue is Pistol Creek, described as a lush nature park with three paved trails. The course is noted for having sweeping views, lush natural surroundings with vibrant colors, and some waterfront views. For this edition, the course has been upgraded and will be clearly marked. Volunteers will be stationed along the route.

Registration on race day is available from 8:30 AM to 9:30 AM. The registration fee increases over time: $25 through March 31, $30 through April 30, and $35 on race day. Awards are given for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place for both men and women.
