Event Overview
The Dairy Discovery 5K and Fun Run is an annual community event held in Shortsville, New York, within the Finger Lakes region. Now in its sixth year, the event aims to connect the local community with regional dairy farmers and products. The race route begins and ends at the Milk Pail location on County Road 7.

Participation Details
The event provides custom apparel and a finisher medal for participants. For those attending the in-person races, packet pickup is available on the evening before the event or on the morning of the races at the Milk Pail. Awards are presented to the top five women and the top five men in the 5K category.
Following the conclusion of the running events, a post-race gathering is held at the Milk Pail. This includes refreshments, various activities, lawn games, and an awards ceremony. The venue remains open during the morning hours, providing access to local dairy products and information about host farms such as Willow Bend Farms and El-Vi Farms.
