Dairy Discovery 5K & Fun Run
The Dairy Discovery 5K & Fun Run is scheduled for September 12, 2026 in Shortsville, New York. This is the sixth annual event and the course both starts and ends at the Milk Pail located at 1099 County Rd. 7, Shortsville, NY 14548. The event is intended to connect the community with local dairy farmers and products and includes an in-person 5K, a Free Kids Fun Run, and a VIRTUAL 5K option.
Entry, packet pickup and race-day details
Listed entry fees are $22.20 (includes $2.20 fee) for the in-person 5K, $0 for the Free Kids Fun Run, and $32.80 (includes $2.80 fee) for the virtual 5K. Participants who register by July 31, 2026 are guaranteed apparel size; apparel and a finisher medal are included for 5K participants. Packet pickup is scheduled for Friday, Sept 11 from 5:30 pm to 6:30 pm and Saturday, Sept 12 from 7:30 am to 8:45 am at the Milk Pail. The Milk Pail will be open on race day from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm. Top five women and top five men in the 5K will receive awards. A post-race gathering at the Milk Pail will include refreshments, activities, lawn games, and an awards ceremony following the race.
