Dairy Discovery 5K & Fun Run - Shortsville, NY
The Dairy Discovery 5K & Fun Run is scheduled for September 12, 2026 and is presented as the event's sixth annual edition. The event is intended to connect the local community with dairy farmers and dairy products and is based at the Milk Pail, 1099 County Rd. 7, Shortsville, NY 14548. The 5K course both starts and ends at the Milk Pail.
Events on race day include a 5K run, a free kids fun run, and a virtual 5K option for participants who cannot attend in person. The event features post-race refreshments, activities, lawn games, and an awards ceremony held at the Milk Pail following the races.
Awards are planned for the top five women and top five men in the 5K. In-person entry fees are listed as starting at $20 and increasing to $30; the virtual 5K is offered at approximately $30 to cover shipping costs. Registration includes custom 5K apparel and a finisher medal. Registrations completed by July 31, 2026 are guaranteed apparel sizes; apparel sizes after that date are distributed first come, first served at packet pickup.
