Daffodil Dash : Kyneton Botanic Gardens
The Daffodil Dash is a community running event held in Kyneton as part of the Kyneton Daffodil and Arts Festival. The event takes place at the Kyneton Botanic Gardens and features courses that use laps of the gardens and out-and-back sections along the Campaspe River Walk. The longer course continues along the Campaspe River to the Kyneton Racecourse.
Two race options are offered:
- Embracia 11km
- Maple Physio 5km
Entry fees vary by registration period. Early bird prices listed are A$38 for the 11km and A$28 for the 5km, with later pricing at A$45 and A$35 respectively. Course maps are provided in Strava format for both distances.
Event partners and sponsors include Maple Physiotherapy, Embracia Aged Care Kyneton, Friends of the Kyneton Botanic Gardens, Macedon Ranges Running Club, Macedon Ranges Shire Council, and a prize sponsor, Tarkine. The race hub, briefings, and presentations are scheduled on the event day, and event information is associated with the Kyneton Daffodil and Arts Festival.
