Event Overview
Run The Rock is a running event taking place on March 21, 2026. The event is held at Hanging Rock in Woodend, within the Macedon Ranges region of Victoria. The location is noted as being approximately one hour's travel from Melbourne.

The event offers four different race distances:

Event Features
The courses incorporate trails, paths, and roads, including a section at the base of Hanging Rock. An event village operates on the day, featuring food trucks, a BBQ, a coffee cart, and live music. Activities include giant games for children. All finishers receive a commemorative medal for the 2026 event. Electronic timing is used, and drinks stations are provided on the course. Race day photographs are taken by a service called NorthSouth Live.
Registration and Logistics
Participants can choose to fundraise for charities. Official event merchandise is available for purchase and must be collected at the event. Race bibs can be personalised for a limited period for those who select postage. Race packs are available for collection prior to the event at specified locations and times, or on the event day from the event village.
