Run The Rock - Hanging Rock
Run the Rock takes place at Hanging Rock, Woodend VIC on 13 March 2027. The event features multiple distances that run through native bush, open country and areas with local wildlife. After racing, participants and spectators can use an Event Village that includes live music, food and drink, family activities and views of Hanging Rock.

A guided Hanging Rock summit walk is offered as part of the event program. The hike is approximately 1.8 km, lasts about 75 minutes, is graded Grade 3 and includes steep sections, steps and uneven terrain. Children under 5 are not permitted on the hike. Prices listed for the walk are Adult $20, Child (5-16 years) $18, Family (2 Adults + 2 Children) $54, Additional Child $9. The full contribution from the summit walk is allocated to care of Hanging Rock, including conservation, revegetation and reserve maintenance.
