D67 Dash 5K Run/Walk
The D67 Dash is a community 5K (3.1 mile) run and walk held at Frank Hren Discovery Park, 9500 Oak Park Avenue in Morton Grove, behind Golf Middle School. The event raises funds for the Golf School District 67 Foundation, which supports enrichment projects for local schools.
Runners, walkers, participants with strollers, and children on bicycles or scooters may take part. Children who ride bikes or scooters may participate but are not eligible for race awards. The course is professionally chip timed and includes two water stations. Awards are given to overall male and female finishers and to male and female winners in these age groups: 13 and under, 14 to 19, 20 to 39, 40 to 49, and 50 and over.
All participants must register; children in strollers do not need to register. T shirts are guaranteed for registrations received before August 28, 2026. Packet pick up is available in advance, with a preferred Friday option at Golf Middle School and a last minute pickup the morning of the event at Frank Hren Discovery Park. The event takes place rain or shine. Light refreshments and family activities are offered after the 5K. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
