Course Information

The 5K course will be new and readjusted for the 2026 edition. The route passes through Cypress Hills Cemetery and past the gravesites of notable historical figures. The event states that t-shirts are available for the first 250 registrants.

Notable Gravesites Along the Route

The course goes by the final resting places of several historical figures, including baseball pioneer Jackie Robinson, actress Mae West, restaurateur Peter Luger, and others such as pianist Ignacy Paderewski, attorney Charlotte Ray, musician Eubie Blake, boxer "Gentleman" Jim Corbett, painter Piet Mondrian, and War of 1812 veteran Hiram Cronk.

Registration and Awards

Registration is priced at $35 until April 15, 2026, increasing to $40 until June 6, and $45 on race day. Bib pickup and day-of registration occur from 7:30 AM to 8:45 AM. There is no packet pickup prior to race day. Awards are given to the top three overall finishers and the top three finishers in each five-year age group bracket, starting from 1-14 up to 75+.
