Cupid's Chase 5K Tempe

Cupid's Chase 5K Tempe takes place on Saturday, February 14, 2026, at Kiwanis Park, 5500 South Mill Avenue, Tempe, AZ 85283. The local event is part of a national race series that marks Community Options' founding. This is the 18th annual race; the series reported over 11,000 participants nationwide last year.

Race format and participant information

The event features a certified 5K with professional timing and results posted immediately after the race. Entry for the 5K is listed at $45; the price increases after February 13, 2026. The event welcomes runners, walkers, participants using baby strollers or wheelchairs, and sponsors. The course and event are described as fully accessible and pet-friendly; all pets must remain leashed. The race is held rain or shine and all registration fees are non-refundable. To guarantee a race shirt, registration is required by January 1, 2026; shirts and giveaways such as a finisher medal and drawstring bag are available while supplies last. Trophies are awarded to the top three overall male and female finishers. Age group medals are awarded to overall male and female finishers in 14 groups: 12 & under, 13–15, 16–19, 20–24, 25–29, 30–34, 35–39, 40–44, 45–49, 50–54, 55–59, 60–64, 65–69 and 70 & over.

Sponsorship opportunities are offered at levels from $500 to $10,000, including Platinum, Gold, Silver, Bronze and exhibitor table options. The event benefits Community Options, Inc., an IRS 501(c)(3) nonprofit incorporated in 1989 and headquartered in Princeton, NJ, which provides housing and employment opportunities for people with disabilities.
