Cupid's Chase 5K Tempe
Cupid's Chase 5K takes place at Kiwanis Park, 5500 South Mill Avenue, Tempe AZ 85283. It is part of a national race series that celebrates the founding of Community Options and that raised funds to support housing and employment opportunities for individuals with disabilities. The organizer reports that last year more than 17,000 runners participated across the country.
The event lists a certified 5K course with professional timing and results posted immediately after the race. Registration for the 5K opens June 9, 2026 and the listed registration fee is $40. The organizer notes that shirts are guaranteed for registrations received by January 1, 2027; after that date shirts are available while supplies last.
The event is described as fully accessible and pet friendly with the requirement that all pets remain leashed at all times. Giveaways include a Cupid's Chase finisher medal and a drawstring bag while supplies last. Trophies are awarded to the top three overall male and female finishers. Age group medals are awarded to the overall male and female finishers in these groups: 12 and under, 13 to 15, 16 to 19, 20 to 24, 25 to 29, 30 to 34, 35 to 39, 40 to 44, 45 to 49, 50 to 54, 55 to 59, 60 to 64, 65 to 69, and 70 and over.
