Cupid's Chase 5K Tempe - Race information
Cupid's Chase 5K Tempe is scheduled for February 14, 2026 at Kiwanis Park, 5500 South Mill Avenue, Tempe, AZ 85283. It is part of a national race series held each February to mark the founding of Community Options. The event is in its 18th annual edition.
The event features a certified 5K with professional timing and immediate posting of results. It is described as fully accessible and pet friendly; pets must remain leashed. Participants may include runners, walkers, people using baby strollers or wheelchairs, and event sponsors.
Giveaways include a Cupid's Chase finisher medal and a drawstring bag while supplies last. To guarantee an event shirt, registration must be completed by January 1, 2026; shirts after that date are available while supplies last. Trophies will be awarded to the top three overall male and female finishers. Age group medals will be presented to the top male and female finishers in each of these 14 age groups: 12 and under, 13–15, 16–19, 20–24, 25–29, 30–34, 35–39, 40–44, 45–49, 50–54, 55–59, 60–64, 65–69, and 70 and over.
Sponsorship levels include Platinum, Gold, Silver, Bronze, and Exhibitor Table. The event operates rain or shine and registration fees are non refundable. The beneficiary is Community Options, Inc., a nonprofit that provides housing and employment opportunities for people with disabilities.
