Cupid's Chase 5K Columbia takes place on Saturday, February 14, 2026, at Maxcy Gregg Park, 1806 Blossom Street, Columbia, SC 29201. The event is part of a national series that marks the founding of Community Options, Inc., a nonprofit that provides housing and employment opportunities for people with disabilities. Last year the series drew more than 11,000 runners nationwide. Race details
The main distance is a certified 5K with professional timing and results posted immediately after the race. The event is fully accessible and pet-friendly; all pets must remain leashed. Giveaways, while supplies last, include a Cupid's Chase finisher medal and a drawstring bag. To guarantee a race shirt, registrants should sign up by January 1, 2026; shirts are available afterward while supplies last. Shirt color options include white and red. Trophies will be awarded to the top three overall male and female finishers. Age group medals will be awarded to male and female finishers in these 14 age groups: 12 & under; 13–15; 16–19; 20–24; 25–29; 30–34; 35–39; 40–44; 45–49; 50–54; 55–59; 60–64; 65–69; and 70 & over. Sponsorship opportunities are listed at price levels from $500 to $10,000. This is a rain or shine event and all registration fees are non-refundable.
