Cupid's Chase 5K Columbia
Cupid's Chase 5K takes place at Maxcy Gregg Park, 1806 Blossom Street, Columbia, SC 29201. The event is the local edition of a national race series that celebrates the founding of Community Options and raises funds to support housing and employment opportunities for individuals with disabilities. This is the 19th annual race in the series.
The distance is 5K (3.1 miles). The race is a certified 5K with professional timing and results posted immediately after the race. Registration opens 2026-06-09; the local 5K registration closes 2026-11-30 and the registration fee is $40.00. All registration fees are non refundable and the event runs rain or shine.
The event is fully accessible and pet friendly; all pets must remain leashed at all times. Participants include runners, walkers, families with strollers, wheelchair participants, and sponsors. Giveaways include a Cupid's Chase finisher medal and a drawstring bag while supplies last.
Trophies will be awarded to the top three overall male and female finishers. Age group medals will be awarded to the overall male and female finishers in each of the following 14 age groups: 12 & under, 13–15, 16–19, 20–24, 25–29, 30–34, 35–39, 40–44, 45–49, 50–54, 55–59, 60–64, 65–69 and 70 & over.
