Cuningar Loop 5k/10k

Cuningar Loop 5k/10k is an organised running event taking place in Rutherglen, Glasgow (G73 1PW) on 25 October 2026. The event offers two measured and chip timed distances:

• 5 km
• 10 km

Runners receive a race number bib with an integrated timing chip that must be secured to an outer garment. Race bibs are collected at the registration desk on the day of the event. The course is marked with kilometre markers and staffed by course marshals. Hydration stations are provided along the route. An instructor led warm up, on-course music, finishers medals, and goody bags with sports nutrition snacks and offers are included for participants. Race day photos will be available on the organiser's website after the event and are free to view.

Entry is processed through the organiser's booking partner. Online entries typically close two days before the event unless sold out, and on the day entries are generally available subject to capacity. On the day entry fees are typically £20 in cash for the 5 km and £25 in cash for the 10 km. Entry management rules include a refund option up to 30 days before the event, transfers or voucher credit up to 7 days before the event, and options to transfer a place to another person or run virtually up to three days before the event. If an event is cancelled or postponed, bookings are transferred to credits or honoured for the new date.

Per event rules, dogs are not permitted and standard headphones are not allowed, though bone conduction headphones are acceptable. Age limits apply: 5 km runners should be aged 11 or above, and 10 km runners should be above 15. Volunteers receive drinks, snacks and a free entry to an Up and Running Event and support tasks such as registration, bag storage, water stations and medal distribution.
