Crystal River Triathlon, Crystal River FL
The Crystal River Triathlon is a sprint multisport event held on May 23, 2026, at 14024 W Fort Island Trail, Crystal River, Florida. The event offers separate race formats with set swim, bike, and run segments and several competition divisions.
Distances for each format:
- Triathlon: Swim 0.25 mile, Bike 12 miles, Run 3 miles
- Duathlon: Run 1 mile, Bike 12 miles, Run 3 miles
- Aquabike: Swim 0.25 mile, Bike 12 miles, then run through the finish line
Competition divisions include Age Group, Athena for women 165 plus pounds, Clydesdale for men 220 plus pounds, Fat Tire, Military LEO PSO for active or retired personnel, Novice for first year triathletes only, Adaptive entries, and relay teams of two or three. Age Group awards include Overall Male and Female, Master Male and Female, and top three in five year age groups. Many divisions award top three finishers.
Most individual entries have a registration fee of seventy five dollars while relay team entries are one hundred fifty dollars. Registration opens December 30, 2025 and closes March 29, 2026. Packet pick up is available on race morning at the race site; there is no early packet pick up on the Friday before the race. Athletes must present a USAT card and photo ID at packet pick up.
