CRR Confederation Park X/C Relay
The event takes place on Sunday, September 20, 2026 at Rosemont Hall in Calgary and is organized by Calgary Roadrunners. It is a cross-country relay meeting held on groomed grass with a separate kids race.
Distances offered:
- 1 km Kids 1K on groomed grass.
- 3 × 3 km Relay for three-person teams, same route for each runner.
The relay course is a figure-eight on groomed grass featuring two tunnel runs and two shallow creek crossings, and participants should expect wet feet. The kids course is on groomed grass. Bringing dry shoes and socks for after the race is recommended.
Registration includes online pre-registration via a form and a paper registration form with signed waivers to be brought on race day if needed. Bib pickup is at Rosemont Hall and one team member may collect all bibs for the team. Team captains are required to pay the team entry fee in cash at bib pickup. Safety pins are limited, so participants should bring their own.
All runners must sign a Release Waiver. For minors, a parent or guardian must sign the waiver. Waiver forms will also be available at the registration table.
Entry fees per runner are listed as 12 dollars general, 8 dollars for Calgary Roadrunner members, 6 dollars for full-time students, and 0 dollars for the Kids 1K race with a signed waiver.
Team categories include OPEN, MASTERS (all runners 40 years or older), YOUTH (all runners 17 years or younger), and SCHOOL/CLUB (all runners 17 years or younger and team name must include the school). Categories have Male, Female and Mixed divisions and a Family division within OPEN.
Amenities include washrooms upstairs and downstairs at Rosemont Community Hall. Post-race soup, rolls and beverages will be served at Rosemont Hall about 100 meters from the start. Participants are asked to bring a dessert to share and a mug, bowl and spoon to reduce waste. Volunteers are requested to help at the finish and with course direction.
