Crown Point Relay Runs
The Crown Point Relay Runs take place at Crown Point Park on Mission Bay in San Diego on October 25, 2026. The event offers both relay formats and solo races along a paved bike path that is described as flat and fast.
Relay teams are made up of 2 to 5 runners who take turns running laps and passing a baton. The half marathon relay consists of 5 laps and the marathon relay consists of 10 laps. Solo options include a 5K and an 8K around the bay.

The event includes chipped timing, a T-shirt, and a medal. There are overall and age group awards, a team picnic area, and parking in the Crown Point Park parking lots. Packet pickup is available the day before at Milestone Running Co on Garnet Avenue; someone else may collect a packet on a registrant’s behalf. Military and service members receive a special discount when they request a discount code before registering.
A finish line festival follows the races with live music, DJs, cold refreshments, and local food trucks. The venue is on 100 percent pavement and is noted as welcoming both runners and walkers. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
