The event takes place along the shores of Lewis & Clark Lake and offers several different formats for participants, including a triathlon that replaces the traditional swimming leg with kayaking.
Participants can choose from a range of distances and activities:
- Triathlon: 1.5-mile kayak, 5K run, and 12-mile bike race.

The triathlon course consists of a 1.5-mile paddle on Lewis & Clark Lake, followed by a 5 km run through the Weigand campground. The final leg is a 12-mile bike ride on the rolling hills that overlook the water. This event can be completed by individuals or by joining a team.
The event also features a standalone 21.1 km half marathon for runners looking for a scenic long-distance route by the water. For cyclists, the 12-mile bike race offers a route that focuses on navigating the hilly terrain of the recreation area. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
