Crescent City Triathlon : July 26, 2026
The Crescent City Triathlon is a sprint pool triathlon event held at the Fred Endert Municipal Pool in Crescent City, California. The 40th annual program includes an adult triathlon, an adult duathlon, a kids pool triathlon, relay teams, and a new Business to Business team challenge. The course is chip timed by e8TIMING. Medals are awarded to all finishers and awards are given to top finishers.
Entry fees vary by date:
- Adult Triathlon, individual ages 13 and up: $65 until July 6, $75 after.
- Adult Duathlon, individual: $50 until July 6, $60 after.
- Adult Triathlon relay team: $45 until July 6, $50 after (per person).
- Kids Triathlon: $25 until July 6, $30 after.
Race rules and services include required bicycle helmets, a prohibition on electronic bikes, lifeguards on deck, allowance of swim flotation devices for kids, and the option for parents to assist their child. The event provides tee shirts for purchase at $20, no refunds, and no team substitutions on race day.
Distances:
- Adult Triathlon: 500 yard pool swim, 12 mile bike, 3.1 mile run
- Adult Duathlon: 1 mile run, 12 mile bike, 3.1 mile run
- Kids 5-6: 50 yd swim, 1 bike lap, 1/4 mile run
- Kids 7-8: 50 yd swim, 1 bike lap, 1/2 mile run
- Kids 9-10: 100 yd swim, 2 bike laps, 1/2 mile run
- Kids 11-12: 100 yd swim, 2 bike laps, 1 mile run
