Creemore Vertical Challenge 2026
The Creemore Vertical Challenge takes place October 17, 2026 in Creemore. The event offers multiple race options:
- 14K - single lap, about 1/2 mile vertical gain
- 27.5K - one lap, about 1/2 mile vertical gain
- 55K - two laps, about 1/2 mile vertical gain per lap
- 80K / 50M - three laps, about 1/2 mile vertical gain per lap
Early registration ends April 1, 2026; regular registration ends October 10, 2026. Published entry fees vary by distance and registration period. The 80K/50M field day lists a cut-off time of 13 hours and requires a headlamp. Other events list cut-off times of 10 hours for the 55K and 7 hours for the 27.5K.
Course, services and logistics
The course is roughly 70% road (mostly gravel) and 30% trail, using private trails and gravel roads around Creemore with several viewpoints. Certain private sections are closed to previewing; a full GPX is not provided. Four aid stations will be stocked with water, mixed electrolytes, and snacks, placed at approximately 2.5km, 6km, 13km, 16.5km and 20km. Drop bags are optional for 55K and 80K and will be held at Aid Station 1 at the start/finish. Race kit pickup is offered and includes swag, bibs, and safety pins. Parking in Creemore is free; organizers request avoiding Mill St and Station on the Green. The event is part of the OUTRace series. Weather plans state the race proceeds in rain.
