Course, logistics and services
The route passes through the hills around Creemore, starting and finishing at Mad River Park. The course surface is about 70% road (mostly gravel) and 30% trail. Each lap has about 1/2 mile of vertical gain; the 55K is two laps, the 80K / 50M is three laps, and the 27.5K and 14K are single laps. Portions cross private land, so a full GPX file is not provided.
There will be four aid stations stocked with water, mixed electrolytes, and snacks, placed at approximate kilometer marks (about 2.5, 6, 13, 16.5 and 20 km); some stations are visited more than once. Drop bags are optional for 55K and 80K and are held at Aid Station 1. Parking in Creemore is free; participants are asked to avoid Mill St and Station on the Green. Event photography will be provided free to runners after the race. In the event of rain the event proceeds as planned. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
