Creemore Vertical Challenge 2026
The Creemore Vertical Challenge takes place in Creemore on October 17, 2026. Distances offered are:
- 14K
- 27.5K
- 55K
- 80K / 50M
The 27.5K is a single lap, the 55K is two laps, and the 80K / 50M is three laps of the same loop. Lap-based options have about 0.5 mile of vertical gain per lap. Event registration has two deadlines: early registration ends April 1, 2026, and regular registration ends October 10, 2026. Entrants may defer to the 2027 event until September 17, 2026, and may transfer a bib to another person until October 1, 2026. Cash refunds are not offered.
Course and logistics
The route is roughly 70% road (mostly gravel) and 30% trail, using private trails and gravel roads with several viewpoints. A full GPX file is not provided because parts of the route cross private land. Aid stations on course will be stocked with water, mixed electrolytes, and snacks; approximate on-course distances listed include 2.5 km, 6 km, 13 km, 16.5 km and 20 km. Drop bags are optional for the 55K and 80K and will be held at the start/finish aid station. Race kits include swag, bibs, and safety pins. The 80K / 50M field day requires a headlamp.
