The 5K Foam Fest in Wasaga Beach
The 5K Foam Fest is an obstacle course and foam run, described as a fun run. The event features over 25 obstacles, including the world's largest inflatable waterslide, mud pits, and a large volume of foam.
The event takes place at Wasaga Beach Provincial Park, Beach Area 2, on 4th Street North in Wasaga Beach, Ontario. It is scheduled for Saturday, July 18, 2026. The first wave starts at 8:00 AM, with subsequent waves every 20 minutes until 2:00 PM.
The course is a 5 km distance designed to be completed at one's own pace, whether walking or running, and all obstacles are optional. The event is open to all ages and abilities.
Participants aged 7 to 12 must run with a registered adult. Children aged 13 to 17 do not require an adult chaperone but must follow all course rules. A free kids' zone is available for children aged 6 and under, featuring mini inflatable obstacles and a bounce house, requiring adult supervision.
The festival area includes music, food vendors, local vendors, and a beer garden. An individual registration includes the run, a string bag, a buff, a finisher's medal, a Foam Fest tattoo, access to water and shower stations, change rooms, the festival area, the free kids' zone, and free downloadable event photos. Group rates and discounts for military personnel and first responders are offered.
