CRC Firecracker Fun Run 5k & 1-Mile Kids Sparkler
The Conway Running Club organizes a community fun run on June 27, 2026 at 306 Salem Rd, Conway, AR 72034. The event includes a longer trail-based run and a short kids race, with a festive red white and blue theme and on-course music.

This is a fun run that is not timed and the listed distances are not verified. A water stop is available on course and the majority of the 5k follows the trail with a small neighborhood section. The 1-mile course has a turnaround point about halfway; participants are asked to keep to the right on the trail and obey traffic laws when on roads.
Registration pricing and discounts are set by the organizer: standard fees, youth pricing for ages 12 and under, and free registration for Conway Running Club members. The first 50 registrants are guaranteed a medal and all registrants receive a finisher award; medals must be picked up and will not be shipped. The first male and first female to finish the 5k receive a one-year CRC membership and additional swag for the 5k winners.
Additional logistics include extra parking at the Conway Fitness Center, limited bathrooms at the start and finish, and a short warm-up route from the Fitness Center to the start. Organizers request that participants avoid bringing dogs; strollers are allowed and anyone with a stroller or dog should start at the back of the pack.
The event will proceed in rain, but organizers will delay for lightning and may cancel if lightning continues; medals will still be distributed.
