Crazy Soles Nipika Trail Run
The event takes place at Nipika Mountain Resort and the Cross River Canyon Recreational Site. The course follows flowy single track with views of the Kootenay River, the Cross River and surrounding mountains. The high point offers a view of the Cross River Canyon at the natural bridge.
Several race distances are offered, including a free kids run that is not timed. The event is cup free and uses reusable race bibs. Participants are asked to bring their own reusable cup or container; water jugs will be provided at aid stations for refills. Reusable bibs should be returned to volunteers at the finish.
Registration closes May 28 and spots remained available at the time of publication. Registrations are non refundable but transfers to another person are allowed through the site or by contacting the organizer. Family members and non racers are welcome to attend and cheer. Dogs may stay with family or friends who are not racing and must be leashed at the start of each race.
