Event overview
The Cranleigh race takes place on 29 March 2026 at the Cranleigh Bandroom, Village Way, Cranleigh GU6 8AF. Runners may complete one, two or three laps of a 7-mile course, for distances of:
- 7 miles
- 14 miles
- 21 miles
The course is flat overall and is split roughly 50% road and 50% trail. Each 7-mile lap includes 3.5 miles on undulating rural road past sheep farms and open fields, and 3.5 miles on the flat Downs Link, an old railway line that passes an old railway station. Water stops are provided every 3.5 miles. The race allows participants to choose their distance on the day, including after the race has started, then use the appropriate finishing funnel.
Free parking is available close to the event HQ. Finishers receive a bespoke metal medal. Tea, coffee and a piece of cake are provided at the finish. Car keys can be left securely with an official at the enquiries desk.
