Cranleigh 7 / 14 / 21 Mile Race

The event is a looped running race based at the Cranleigh Bandroom, Village Way, Cranleigh GU6 8AF. The course is described as 50% road and 50% trail and uses a 7 mile loop that can be repeated for longer distances.

The 7 mile loop comprises two clear halves: 3.5 miles on undulating rural road passing sheep farms and open fields, and 3.5 miles on the Downs Link, an old railway line that passes a former railway station. Water stops are provided every 3.5 miles.

Distances:

  • 7 miles one lap
  • 14 miles two laps
  • 21 miles three laps

Runners may choose which distance to complete on the day and follow the appropriate finish funnel. Entry is limited to 300 participants and there are strictly no entries on the day. Early bird and standard entry fees apply with separate prices for affiliated and unaffiliated entrants; early bird rates close on 25 December 2025.

Facilities at the headquarters include free parking on Village Way, a bespoke metal medal for finishers, and tea, coffee and a piece of cake at the finish. Car keys can be left securely with an official at the enquiries desk. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
