Coweta Christmas Dasher

The Coweta Christmas Dasher is a holiday running event held in Downtown Coweta on December 19, 2026. The start and finish are at Coweta Central Elementary School, 303 N Broadway, Coweta, OK 74429. The event is hosted by the Coweta Rotary Club and the Coweta Education Foundation.

Distances include:

• 5K
• 1 mile Fun Run/Walk

The 5K uses a USATF certified course and is timed by I:40 Race Service. Medals will be awarded to the top three men and top three women in USATF 5K age groups. A costume contest runs alongside the races. Refreshments provided after the event include bananas, oranges, and water.

Registration fees vary by date. Fees listed by registration period in the source are:

• Pre registered through November 30: $25 for the 5K, $15 for the Fun Run
• December 1 to December 11: $30 for the 5K, $20 for the Fun Run
• December 12 to Race Day: $35 for the 5K, $25 for the Fun Run
