Covington Nursery School Halloween 5K/10K
All proceeds support Covington Nursery School. The event is a fundraiser held on the Covington Circle Trail with an out and back course that starts and ends at Covington City Park by the soccer field. The race date is October 31, 2026.
The event is chip timed and includes awards: first place medals in each age division for both races, plus overall male and female winners. The event is family friendly, encourages physical activity across ages, and costumes are encouraged. Strollers are welcome and only service pets are permitted. The event runs rain or shine and registration is non refundable because it is a fundraiser. Pre registration before October 12 guarantees a shirt.
Course details and practical information are as follows:
- 5K out and back on Covington Circle Trail with turnaround at Trojan Complex Road.
- 10K continues past the 5K turnaround to the Pearl Street Trailhead and returns.
The races begin by the soccer pavilion on the Covington Circle Trail and include water stations and signage at both turnarounds. Bib and t shirt pickup is available the Thursday before the race from 6 to 7 pm at Covington Nursery School, 1135 Liberty, Covington. Race morning packet pickup is available from 7:30 to 8:30 am at the soccer pavilion. Packets include a race map, bib, sponsorship materials, t shirts, and extras.
