About the race
The Course Yvon LeBlanc is an annual running event taking place on September 26, 2026, in Champdoré, New Brunswick, with a listed meeting point at 4556 Rue Principale, Saint-Antoine. This is the 9th edition of the event. It is open to youth and adults and combines recreational running and walking with a community purpose: supporting food security for local children.
A portion of the event proceeds is donated each year to schools in the Champdoré area, specifically École Camille-Vautour in Saint-Antoine and École Mont-Carmel in Sainte-Marie. After the previous edition, one thousand Canadian dollars were given to each of these two schools; those amounts were invested in school cafeterias to support initiatives that promote student food security.
The event program includes running, walking and opportunities for spectators. A participation gift package is provided to every participant. Route maps are available for the main distances and the schedule of the day is listed as coming soon.
