Résilience Run
The Résilience Run is a marked-course event offering three distance options organized by the Régie de police du Lac des Deux-Montagnes and its Fraternity. The distances are:
- 2.5 km
- 5 km
- 10 km
The activity is scheduled to coincide with Terry Fox Day and serves as a tribute to two sisters who faced multiple cancers and later died after years of treatment. The race honors their memory and highlights themes of courage, resilience, and community support. The organizing police service has a history of community relations work, including past projects to help families access sport activities.
The event site is at the Régie de police du Lac des Deux-Montagnes police station, 615 20th Avenue, Deux-Montagnes. Parking is available on Gaétan Labrèche Street behind the police station, using the Deux-Montagnes train station and Olympia arena parking lots; volunteers will guide arrivals. Restrooms are located inside the Olympia arena. The event includes on-site entertainment, food and drinks, prize draws, and acknowledgments later in the day.
