Course du Portageur is a sporting and family event held in Notre-Dame-du-Portage, Quebec, along the Saint Lawrence River. The event reaches its 17th edition and offers four out-and-back routes on asphalt roads.
Distances offered:
- 1 km : all ages
- 3 km : ages 10 and up
- 5 km : ages 14 and up
- 10 km : ages 16 and up
All routes are out-and-back and generally flat, with the same start and finish location. The course runs beside the Saint Lawrence River and passes by historic houses and maple trees, presenting autumn colors.
On-site services include chip timing, on-site entertainment, a snack and water station, and an ambulance. Participant numbers are limited to 750.
