About the race
The Course des pompiers de Laval is a city road event organized by the Service de sécurité incendie de Laval, the Ville de Laval and the Foundation des pompiers du Québec. The next edition is scheduled for Sunday 30 May 2027. The event includes both in-person and virtual participation options and raises funds for the Foundation des pompiers du Québec.

The route uses streets and notable locations in Laval. From 2023 the finish area has been located at the outdoor site of Collège Montmorency. Participants registered in distances of 5 km and above pass through an actual fire station during the course. A youth program for residents 17 years and under allows participation for 10$ and includes a shirt and a medal.
The event is sanctioned at the gold level by Athlétisme Québec and the marathon serves as a qualifying race for the Abbott World Marathon Majors series. Race editions present commemorative medals and community-focused programming, and the organization publishes information on planning, training programs and race-day logistics.
