Course des pompiers de Laval 2026
The Course des pompiers de Laval is an annual event organized by the City of Laval and its firefighters. The races take place at Collège Montmorency on Boulevard de l'Avenir. This sporting event is open to both runners and walkers, including adults and children.
The following distances are available for participants:
- 1 km
- 2,5 km
- 5 km
- 10 km
- 21,1 km
- 42,2 km
Participants can choose from several formats, including individual registration, corporate challenges for teams of 10 people, and a virtual race option. Virtual participants complete their chosen distance between May 16 and May 31, 2026.
Registration includes a participation medal, a personalized bib, and access to a results platform. For distances of 5 km or more, the package also includes an official t-shirt and a training program. A post-race snack and festive gathering are organized at the finish line, featuring firefighters from the local department.
There is no bib pickup on the day of the race. All participants must collect their race materials no later than Saturday, May 30. Proceeds from the event are donated to the Fondation des pompiers du Québec to support their charitable mission. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
