Cougar Mountain Trail Run Series (July) : event overview

The Cougar Mountain Trail Run Series (July) takes place on Saturday, July 11, 2026, in Bellevue, WA at the Sky Country Trailhead (7077 Clay Pit Rd, Bellevue, WA 98006). The race is organized by Seattle Running Club and Northwest Trail Runs. The July event offers the following distances:

  • 19.5 Miles

Each entry includes a $15 donation to King County Parks. There is a participant cap and no refunds.

Course, amenities and rules

Races are run on single-track forest trails through Cougar Mountain Regional Wildland Park, with rolling hills, some moderate climbs and a few short steep sections. The series is cup-free; runners are asked to bring refillable water containers to use at aid stations. Post-race food and beer are provided. Photography may be used by the organizing club for promotional purposes unless participants request removal.

Dogs are not allowed on the course due to insurance requirements. Awards are given to the top three Men, Women, and Nonbinary runners in each event. Series standings use the best three out of four races for awards, and top overall finishers receive additional awards and a free entry into next year’s series.
