Costumes for Kids 5K - Prescott
The Costumes for Kids 5K is an annual community fun run organized by Yavapai CASA for Kids Foundation. The event has been held since 2014 and combines running with family-focused activities and fundraising for local foster youth.
Race options include:
- 5K race around downtown Prescott (optional)
- 4-lap fun run around Courthouse Plaza (optional)
The event features vendor booths with games, costume contests, and music provided by Fly by Night Entertainment. Runners receive free pizza. All proceeds benefit local foster youth. Youth under 16 and foster or kinship families participate for free; other racers are charged a fee of $30 with reduced group rates available. There is a registration deadline of October 1 to be eligible to receive a race-day t-shirt.
