Corporate Fun Run Detroit
The Corporate Fun Run Detroit is a 5 km run and walk event scheduled for Tuesday, September 22nd, 2026. The event takes place at Cullen Plaza, located along the Detroit Riverfront at 1340 Atwater Street.
The race follows an out and back course design. Participants start at Cullen Plaza and head west exclusively along the riverfront, with a turnaround point situated near the former site of the Joe Louis Arena. The route concludes back at the original start line in Cullen Plaza.
Post-race activities are held at the plaza and on the adjacent grass area. The event provides banquet table seating and picnic blankets for participants. Catering includes pizza, ziti, and various beverages. Entertainment is provided by a live DJ throughout the duration of the event. A photographer is present to take team and individual photographs at no additional cost.
Awards are presented in several categories, including the largest participating team, the team with the best t-shirt design, and the fastest teams and individual runners. Parking is available in a large lot at the entrance to Cullen Plaza on Atwater Street, as well as via street parking in the surrounding area.
