About the race
Corporate Challenge Christchurch is an evening 5 km event held in North Hagley Park. The event is scheduled for Wednesday 4 November 2026 with a rain date of Thursday 5 November 2026. Event headquarters are located in the Entertainment Triangle with Victoria Lake as a backdrop. The course is a flat figure of eight around North Hagley Park.
The route passes Victoria Lake, includes a western loop toward Deans Ave beside the golf course, and an eastern loop toward Harper Ave with a short out-and-back section to reach the full distance. The final kilometre runs along the western bank of the Avon River back to the finish area. The race uses gun time for individual awards and net time for online results. Corporate Challenge features team tents around the finish area.
Tents may be BYO or rented as a package that includes a 3x3 gazebo, table and seating for four; rental tents are limited in number and positioned first on site. Team tents may be dropped off and picked up via the Armagh St Bridge access; vehicles are not permitted to park under tree driplines or on grass during the event as required by the council permit. Competitions include individual and team awards. Team awards are based on the sum of the top three qualifying finishers using gun time and are organised into overall and industry categories.
