Cops & Joggers 5K

This event is a night road race held in Downtown Fort Myers on January 9, 2027. The course begins and ends in the downtown area at Edwards Dr and Monroe Street and crosses the Caloosahatchee Bridge out and back. The distance is a 5K course, about 3.1 miles, and it passes through parts of the city with visible waterfront views.

Police lights line sections of the course, creating a distinctive nighttime atmosphere. Proceeds from the race will benefit the Fort Myers Police Department Fallen Officer Memorial Foundation.

A Family Fun Night runs from 4:00 PM to 10:00 PM on the same day. Family friendly activities include a children’s play area, food, music, vendors, and police displays.
