Event

The Cops & Joggers 5K takes place on January 10, 2026 in Downtown Fort Myers, FL (2101 Edwards Dr). It is a night 3.1 mile run that begins and ends in historic downtown, runs along the river, and crosses the Edison Bridge. Police lights will line the course. Proceeds benefit the Fort Myers Police Department Fallen Officer Memorial Foundation.

Logistics and awards

Entry fees vary by date: on or before December 31, 2025 the fee is $30 for adults and $20 for youth (17 and under); January 1 to January 9, 2026 the fee is $35 for adults and $25 for youth; race day registration is $40 for all ages. Packet pick-up is scheduled the day before the event at Fleet Feet, 13499 South Cleveland Ave (Bell Tower Shops). Race day packet pick-up is at the Caloosa Sound/Luminary Hotel. Event parking is available at the Monroe Street Parking Garage and the Main/Jackson Street Parking Garage.

The first 500 registrants receive a unisex race shirt and goodie bag; shirt sizes are not guaranteed. Awards are based on chip time and include overall and age-category prizes for male and female finishers, plus Masters and Grand Masters divisions.
