About the race
Copenhagen Half Marathon is a half marathon held in Copenhagen and Frederiksberg on 19 September 2027. The event covers 21.0975 km and brings together 45,000 registered runners along a route described as fast, with loud spectator support throughout the city.
The race features an elite programme divided into Elite A, B and C. Elite A is an invited international field, while Elite B and C have set qualification requirements to join the elite groups. Entry for mass participants in 2027 has been managed via a lottery system.
Copenhagen is included in the SuperHalfs series, a collection of six European city half marathons that also includes Lisbon, Prague, Berlin, Cardiff and Valencia. Participants can register for SuperHalfs and collect results in a personal SuperPassport to qualify for a commemorative SuperMedal once all six events are completed.
Organisers provide event news, a start list and volunteer opportunities. Communications and updates are issued through an event newsletter managed by Sparta Atletik & Løb. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
