COOrageous in Motion
COOrageous in Motion is a community walk organized by Coos for Cancer to honor, remember, and support people impacted by cancer. The event includes an on-site walk at Rutledge-Wilson Farm Park in Springfield, Missouri, and a Virtual Walk Week that takes place from September 19 to September 26, 2026.
On site, participants can walk community paths at their own pace or complete a measured distance. Family-friendly experiences at the farm setting include a Highland cow encounter and a corn maze. The event provides opportunities to honor warriors, survivors, caregivers, and loved ones.
Virtual participants may walk anywhere during Virtual Walk Week and have event shirts shipped to them. Registrations for ages four and up include an official COOrageous in Motion Walk T-Shirt. Children ages three and under register free; their registration does not include a T-shirt. Participants are asked to select shirt sizes by August 31, 2026 to help guarantee availability. The listed registration fee is $35.00.
