Coop Loop 5K & 10K
The Coop Loop 5K & 10K is the 26th annual Cooperstown Halloween race on Sunday, October 25, 2026, at The Clark Sports Center in Cooperstown, NY. The event is sponsored by NYCM Insurance and The Clark Sports Center and features race options for both shorter and longer distances.
- 5K: One loop through the Village of Cooperstown.
- 10K: Two loops through the Village of Cooperstown.
The course travels through the village and is mostly flat with a gentle half-mile hill near the finish. Water stations are available mid-course and at the finish. Traffic will be present on the course with major intersections staffed for safety. Participants are asked to refrain from using personal listening devices during the race. Dogs are not allowed. The event will be held rain, snow, or shine.
Registration fees are tiered: on or before October 20 entry is $30; October 21 through race day entry is $45. Group registration is available on or before October 19 with set fees for 3, 4, and 5 member groups; all children in group registrations must be 18 or under and individual registrations must be completed for each member. Group registration closes October 19. Registering on or before October 8 qualifies for the 2026 event shirt. Pre-registration is available online or in person at The Clark Sports Center. Day-of registration and bib pickup are available at The Clark Sports Center. All participants must have a signed Clark Sports Center waiver on file.
