Cookie Chase : Denver, CO
Cookie Chase is a 5K run/walk held at Sloan’s Lake Park in Denver on Saturday, July 10, 2027. The course uses the paved bike trails around the lake and the event is staged from the parking lot at W 17th Ave and Utica St. Because parts of the course are narrow, the race is organized in waves based on estimated finish time.
Registration pricing varies by date, with early entry listed at $30 and race day entry at $40, and a $5 discount for participants ages 17 and under. Registration includes a race logo shirt, a finishers medal, fresh cookies at the finish, professional chip timing with a disposable bib tag, fully stocked aid stations, a party-like atmosphere on course and at the finish line expo, and free photo downloads after the event. A virtual option is available; virtual packets include a shirt, medal, and bib shipped at no additional cost.
Packet pickup is available the day before the race on Friday, July 9, 2027 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Runners Roost, 1685 S Colorado Blvd, and race day packet pick-up is available at the race site. On race morning the parking lot at W 17th and Utica will be closed and nearby neighborhood parking to the south is suggested. Bicycles, skateboards, and roller skates are not allowed in the race.
Awards are presented to the overall male and female winners and to the top three in each age group, with age groups starting at 9 and under and continuing in five year increments up to 80 and over. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
