About the race
Consent Event is an annual family fun run and walk held each May at Broadmoor Lake Park in Sherwood Park. The event offers short distances suitable for families and participants of different ages and abilities.

The event brings together hundreds of community members, including families, friends, and pets. It functions as a fundraiser that highlights and supports work to prevent sexual violence and to assist survivors in their healing journeys. Funds from the event support frontline programs and services such as counselling, police and court support, and education.
