The Conquer the Canyon Marathon Race Festival is scheduled for July 25, 2026 in Wellsboro, Pennsylvania, at 5440 US-6. The festival includes multiple race distances and a combo option.
- Marathon - certified Boston qualifier; two loops of the half course.
- Half Marathon - out-and-back loop; out 6.5543 miles to turnaround.
- 10K - out 3.1 miles and return to finish.
- 5K - out 1.55 miles and return to finish.
- Combo 5K & 10K - combined registration option.
Course, awards and extras
The course is a mix of road and trail. The half marathon route includes about 4.2 paved miles that reach a scenic overlook, then about 2.3 miles on a hard-packed dirt trail with little auto traffic. The full marathon is two loops of the half course. The full marathon carries a certification number PA22017NP.
Awards are given by gender categories including a non-binary option. Prizes include top overall finishers and top three in age groups across races. First-time half and full marathon finishers receive a commemorative plaque plus the finisher medal. Race entry includes a medal, t-shirt and running ankle socks; personalized bibs are available if registration is completed at least three weeks in advance.
