Connor's Run : The Run
Connor's Run is a fundraising event organised by the Robert Connor Dawes Foundation to support brain matters projects and raise funds for children with brain cancer. The event runs throughout September with an in-person event in Melbourne plus a virtual option called Your Way Any Day that allows participation from anywhere.
The event offers multiple route options:
- 18.8 km long route starting in Hampton.
- 9.6 km route starting in St Kilda.
- 3 km Little Bird loop at the finish area on the Yarra.
On event day there is on-course entertainment and a finish party with DJs, live bands, yoga, a lululemon cool down and massage services. Coffee and refreshments are available at the start areas and finish party. Water and electrolyte stations are provided approximately every three kilometres along the routes. A limited bag-drop is available and participants are asked to label bags; prams and wheelchair users are welcome.
Registrations include a limited edition T-shirt. Packs ordered before mid August are scheduled for delivery ahead of the September activity period; late registrants may need to collect kits at start locations. Ticket categories and early bird pricing are listed by the organiser, and the event includes fundraising tools and leaderboards for participants.
