Connor Luke Hayes Memorial 5K
The Connor Luke Hayes Memorial 5K is the fifth annual memorial run held on April 18, 2026, at Calhoun City Recreation Department, 10 McDaniel Station Rd, Calhoun, GA 30701. The event is hosted by the CLStrong Foundation and is organized as a fundraising and awareness activity in memory of Connor Luke Hayes.
Proceeds benefit the CLStrong Foundation. Funds support scholarships for local students in Gordon County Schools and Calhoun City Schools, assistance for families facing childhood illnesses, and local community service projects. The foundation also aims to raise awareness about childhood cancer, with specific mention of High-Risk Neuroblastoma.
Event logistics include pre-race packet pickup on Friday, April 17, at the drive-through portico of Heritage Baptist Church, 345 Curtis Parkway, Calhoun. There is on-site parking adjacent to the ball fields near the start and finish area.
