Compassion Corsicana 5K Fun Run & Walk
The Compassion Corsicana 5K Fun Run & Walk is a community event hosted by the City of Corsicana Parks and Recreation at IOOF Park in Corsicana, Texas. The event supports local parks and recreation programs and the neighbors served by those programs. It includes two events: the Compassion Corsicana 5K Run and the Compassion Corsicana Fun Run and Walk.
An award ceremony for 5K runners follows the run. Awards are given to the top three male and top three female finishers in these age categories: 12 and under, 13 to 19, 20 to 39, 40 to 59, and 60 and over.
Registration is available in three phases with single entry and family or friend four pack pricing: early bird registration January 20 to February 16 ($30 single, $100 four pack); general registration February 17 to March 27 ($40 single, $120 four pack); and event day registration March 28 ($50 single, $130 four pack). A free event t shirt is guaranteed for participants who register before March 20.
