Community Traverse - Moors 100
The Moors 100 Miler is a point to point mountain ultra of approximately 160 kilometres from Patterdale in the Lake District to The Lion Inn in the North York Moors. The route follows substantial sections of Wainwright's Coast to Coast route and passes mountain passes, rolling dales, remote moorland, historic market towns and villages.
The event uses a defined official route and includes a 62 hour cut-off to allow multi-day completion. A GPX file and final route information will be issued to participants before the event. Live tracking is provided for all participants and trackers must be returned at the finish or on withdrawal. A mandatory kit list applies and must be respected.
Checkpoints include Shap, Kirkby Stephen, Richmond, Ingleby Cross Village Hall and The Lion Inn (finish). Checkpoints will offer hot and/or cold food with non-vegan and vegan options, hot and cold beverages, snacks and race nutrition, indoor access, toilet facilities and period products, and first aid support.
The event is officially registered with the International Trail Running Association and finishing participants earn ITRA endurance points. Entry details published for the event include a minimum age of 20, an entry fee of £145, entries open on 18 June 2026 and close on 1 March 2027.
