Community Traverse - Moors 100
The Moors 100 Miler is a point-to-point mountain ultramarathon covering approximately 160 kilometres from Patterdale in the Lake District to The Lion Inn in the North York Moors. The route follows sections of Wainwright's Coast to Coast and passes mountain passes, rolling dales, remote moorland, historic market towns and open farmland. A GPX file and final route information will be issued prior to the event.
Checkpoints are located at Shap, Kirkby Stephen, Richmond, Ingleby Cross Village Hall and The Lion Inn (finish). Checkpoints provide water, hot food with vegan and gluten free options, snacks and race nutrition, indoor access, toilet facilities and first aid. The event uses a 60 hour overall cut off and live tracking will be in place for all participants; trackers must be returned at the finish or upon withdrawal. A mandatory kit list applies and the official route must be followed; participants who withdraw must report to the nearest checkpoint and inform Race Control. The event is registered with the International Trail Running Association and finishers earn ITRA endurance points. Entries open 18 June 2026 and close 1 March 2027. The entry fee is £145 and the minimum age is 20 on the event date. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
