Community Run at The Ripe Market
The Community Run series returns for its 9th edition, running from October 2026 to May 2027 at The Ripe Market, Academy Park, Dubai Police Academy. The event presents multiple distances and a non-competitive setting where participants of different ages can run within the market grounds.
Distances offered:
- 2.5 km for children, beginners, or family jogs
- 5 km for casual runners
- 10 km for those seeking a longer run
- 15 km for more experienced runners
Race services include automated timing, electronic certificates, and finisher medals. Hydration is provided at the start and finish and along the race route. Medical cover is provided by a registered nurse and emergency medical services. Facilities at the venue include parking, toilets, changing rooms, and showers. Race pack collection takes place on race day and participants are expected to use their own transport to and from the venue, within walking distance of the car park.
Registration is open for individual athletes with age category pricing applied per distance. The organiser is Promoseven Sports Marketing and the event operates under local permits and venue partnerships. A post-run celebration takes place within the Ripe Market community and the event supports fundraising for The Child Fund through the Al Jalila Foundation.
