Come Out & Run 5K - Wilton, CT
Come Out & Run 5K is a community event presented by Wilton Pride and Wilton Library on September 20, 2026 in Wilton, Connecticut. The event marks National Coming Out Day and emphasizes PRIDE, diversity, inclusivity, and community support for LGBTQIA+ people and allies. The course is a 5K and welcomes runners, walkers, kids, strollers, and leashed dogs. The gathering is family friendly and pet friendly and includes music, food, festivities, giveaways, digital race photos, and post race activities.
Registration notes: adults and participants age 10 and older pay a registration fee of $30.00; kids under 10 participate for free but must register.
Awards and contests include gift baskets and gift cards for top finishers and a Pride Best Dressed contest with prizes in categories such as Best Embodiment of PRIDE, Best Use of Color, and Most Creative Use of Flare. Kid prizes are awarded by age groups with gift cards for top finishers. The 5K course will have one water station.
Packet pickup is available before the race at Wilton Library on the Friday and Saturday prior to the event and on race day at Wilton Green. Someone else may pick up a packet on a participant’s behalf and packets will not be shipped. There is ample parking around Wilton Town Center and drop off is suggested at Wilton Library.
